Description: Road centrelines are an approximation of the centre of a roadway, captured through heads up (on screen) digitization by the City of Leduc ESA Group. Road segments are split at the intersection of two or more roadways, where addressing patterns change (i.e. odd and even numbers on the same side of the road), along the boundary of the City of Leduc, and where speed limits change in the middle of a roadway. Roads are not split at intersections that are not reflective of what is built (i.e. Highway overpass). Roadways split by a median are represented by two centrelines, generally parallel to each other, each with an opposing direction of travel. Where appropriate, medians and split roadways have been represented by two lines in this dataset. Median is modelled where it is believed to affect traffic flow, some median locations are not modelled, these are locations where it is believed that the median does not affect traffic movement. The medians that are modelled represent both hard (concrete) or soft (painted lines) constraints. The extent of this dataset is based on the boundary of Leduc, the Leduc Fire Response Zones, and an additional area of reference directly north of the extents mentioned – up to Hwy 19. The Parking Lot Reference Lines feature class are complimentary to the Street Centrelines feature class - intended for map display purposes.ATTRIBUTE FIELDS:GIS IDUnique ID assigned to each road segment, automatically generated using GenerateID TableCarto ClassPrimary road categorization field, intended to aid cartogrphic display, such as label queries, by categorizing road segments that exhibit similar design and functionality characteristics, such as laneways and major highwaysRender ClassGeneralized road categorization, based on Carto Class, intended for cartogrphic display, such as symbolizationFull NameFull Road Name all caps, stores the distinct name assigned to each roadway, including street direction, route suffix, and route name Route LabelRoad name used for labelling a roadway, stored in proper case,Primary Road Carto Class raodways use the full name, all other streets use the short form for demonination (i.e. Blvd instead of Boulevard)Route NameName of roadway, stored in proper case, used to concatenate road name, such as Route Name & FDM Route Type for FDM formatting (as a reulst of the need for concatenation; Hwy is used for Highway and Rng Rd for Range Road and Twp Rd for Twonship Road; both the number identifiers and the short form suffix are included)Route SuffixThe type of route, unabbreviated, written in proper case, distinguishes beteween Rural carto types for Range Road and Township Roads)CP Route SuffixThe abbreviated Canada Post Route Type (Route Suffix equal to Highway, Township, or Range Roads do not have a value)FDM Route SuffixFDM Route Type (concatenate Route Name and FDM Route Type for FDM Full Name) (Route Suffix equal to either Highway, Township, or Range Roads do not have a value)Route DirectionThe cardinal direction associated with the name of the routeRoute Alias NameAlias Name assigned to roadway, highway ramps have been assigned a name based on direction of travel and access vs exitProvincial RouteThe Provincial Route Number assinged to a roadwayOne Way IndicatorThe direction of travel, FT indicates travel in the direction the geometry was digitizedJurisdictionThe jurisdication associated with the location of the roadway, location breaks are approxiamed to the closest intersection in some instancesOwnershipThe ownership associated with the location of the roadway, location breaks are approxiamed to the closest intersection in some instancesCity MaintainedIndicates the associatoin with city maintenance and the roadway, location breaks are approxiamed to the closest intersection in some instancesFrom Left AddressLowest address range on left side of the roadTo Left AddressHighest address range on left side of the roadFrom Right AddressLowest address range on right side of the roadTo Right AddressHighest address range on right side of the roadFrom Left Address ParityThe odd or even house number range value at the start of the left side of the street, intended to identify the opposite of the From To Address (odd or even), on streets where mixed house number range values occurTo Left Address ParityThe odd or even house number range value at the end of the left side of the street, intended to identify the opposite of the From To Address (odd or even), on streets where mixed house number range values occurFrom Right Address ParityThe odd or even house number range value at the start of the right side of the street, intended to identify the opposite of the From To Address (odd or even), on streets where mixed house number range values occurTo Right Address ParityThe odd or even house number range value at the end of the right side of the street, intended to identify the opposite of the From To Address (odd or even), on streets where mixed house number range values occurMunicipality on LeftThe jurisdication located on the left side of the roadMunicipality on RightThe jurisdication located on the right side of the roadSpeed LimitThe travel speed associated with a roadway, location breaks are approxiamed to the closest intersection in some instances, based on approximated posted speed limit sign loactions along the street network and the City of Leduc Speed Bylaw (846-2014) LanesThe number of lanes associated with a segment of roadway, most oftenly the number of lanes are approxiamed to the closest intersection and ramps / turning lanes are not accounted forHierarchyA value ranking assinged to each road segment intended to imrpove routing outcomes. Description: This feature class contains Parcels that are located throughout the City of Leduc. New parcels are put into the GIS based on registered survey plans. Parcles is related to the Address Points feature class based on teh PID field. The PID numbers for these features are created by Planning (LDO). For instances were no PID has been created, features are given a GIS genertared PID number of 99XXXX. In the case of Willow Park, PID numbers were created by LDO (all the same as the main property) but inorder to ensure proper linkages between the Parcels and Address Points feature classes 99XXXX PID numbers were issued.
