Description: This feature class contains information regarding the address locations that exist within the City of Leduc. The address data is updated on information received from Planning. Address Points are classified as either Primary (only one address on the property), Secondary (one of many sub-addresses, ie. units), Common (the common building address in the case where units exist), Assessment (used for assessment purposes only), or Other. Address Points are related to the Parcels feature class based on a 1:M relationship between PID (Parcels) and MAP_PID (Address Points). There are unique instance where the PID and MAP PID received for Common and Secondary addresses are both the same. To ensure only the Common address links to the Parcels when exporting the join, Secondary addresses are given a GIS generated PID of 990001. This occurs mainly in condos but also in commercial and industrial areas (i.e. Leduc Common and Leduc Business Park). Another unique instance occurs when Secondary addresses are given a GIS generated PID of 990006. In these instance, the addresses associated belong to apartment or rental properties within the City of Leduc. These are addresses that exist in the City of Leduc, but not in LDO which is where PID numbers are generated.
